Services
A.S.C.T. has an independent Board of Directors made up of qualified leaders in Christian Counseling. This Board carefully establishes guidelines for every candidate for certification based on academic background, clinical experience, ability, and the capacity to successfully complete a written certification exam. A.S.C.T. offers the following levels of membership and certification:
- Associate Membership
Designed for pastors, ministers and students (in approved Christian Counselor training programs), lay counselors and those interested in knowing more about this dynamic field of ministry.
- Certified Christian College and Learning Centers
Available to all approved Bible Schools, Seminaries, Institutes, Colleges, and Training Centers.
- Certified Pastoral Counselor
For Graduates from approved learning centers with a Bachelor's degree in Christian Counseling or equivalency. (Board Certification Exam is required)
- Certified Christian Marriage and Family Therapist
For graduates from approved learning centers with a Master's degree in Christian Counseling or equivalency. (Board Certification Exam is required)
- Doctoral Diplomate
For highly qualified individuals holding CCMFT credentials and qualifying degree at the Doctoral level.
